Part of the Held in Silver collection — small moments from nature, preserved in fine silver.

Among the Ferns began with the intricate texture of a fern, one of the small botanical treasures I’m forever noticing and gathering on walks or finding in my own backyard.

The original fern was pressed into a mould to capture its delicate veins and texture, before being recreated in fine silver. I love that the process preserves all the tiny irregularities of the original — the beautiful little details that are so easily overlooked when we’re wandering past them.

Each piece in this collection has been individually made and finished by hand in my Ballarat studio. The organic edges, textures and subtle imperfections are deliberately retained, making every piece completely unique.

The reverse bears my maker’s mark and 925 silver hallmark.
