Taking Flight captures the incredibly delicate detail of a found feather, pressed directly into the surface and preserved in fine silver.

Each earring carries its own feather impression, with the fine central spine and individual barbs creating an intricate natural pattern across the oval form. Light and gently moving when worn, they are a little reminder of one of nature’s most beautiful and fleeting finds.

Each piece in this collection has been individually made and finished by hand in my Ballarat studio. The organic textures, tiny marks and subtle imperfections are deliberately retained, making every pair completely unique.

Measurements:
25mm high x 20mm wide

The reverse bears my maker’s mark and 925 silver hallmark.

The earrings hang from handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.
