Workshops with a View

Jewellery Making Experiences in Beautiful Places

Spend a day learning traditional silversmithing techniques while surrounded by inspiring landscapes. These small-group workshops combine creativity, craftsmanship and place — slow making in beautiful locations.

The Concept

Workshops with a View is a series of small jewellery workshops held in beautiful places across Victoria.

Each workshop invites participants to step away from busy life and spend the day creating with their hands. Using traditional tools and simple silversmithing techniques, you’ll learn how to transform sterling silver into pieces you can wear and treasure.

These workshops are relaxed, beginner-friendly and designed for small groups so everyone receives personal guidance.

You will leave the day with several pieces of jewellery you have made yourself — usually a combination of pendants and earrings.

No previous jewellery experience is required.

The Locations

Workshops take place in inspiring locations such as:

• vineyards and wineries
• coastal landscapes
• bush and garden settings
• regional craft spaces

Each workshop location is chosen to create a beautiful and memorable creative experience.

What to Expect

A typical workshop day includes:

• hands-on instruction in traditional jewellery techniques
• all tools and sterling silver materials provided
• a relaxed full-day creative experience
• small groups (usually 6–10 people)
• several finished jewellery pieces to take home

Many venues will also offer morning tea, lunch or local wine as part of the day.
