A little tree standing tall and proud, its branches reaching outward and its roots firmly planted in the earth.

The Lone Pine is inspired by those beautiful, solitary trees we encounter in the landscape — standing quietly on a hillside, beside a winding road or in an open field. There’s something rather wonderful about their resilience and individuality.

Each tiny branch and the distinctive silhouette of the tree have been carefully hand-sawn from recycled sterling silver, creating a delicate cut-out design within a softly irregular, elongated silver pendant.

The surface has been given a gentle satin finish, allowing the intricate silhouette to take centre stage. The subtle marks of the making process are deliberately retained, celebrating the character and individuality of something made entirely by hand.

Created in my Ballarat studio, The Lone Pine is a little reminder of the beauty of nature, quiet strength and the importance of standing tall.

Measurements:
Approximately 25mm high x 11mm wide, excluding the bail.

The reverse bears my maker’s mark and sterling silver hallmark.
