Bamboo Whisper Pendant

Recycled Sterling Silver – Hand-Sawn Botanical Design – Satin Finish

A quiet little moment in nature, captured in silver.

Bamboo Whisper is inspired by the delicate beauty of bamboo — its slender stems, graceful leaves and the gentle movement of branches in the breeze.

Three beautifully balanced botanical arrangements have been intricately hand-sawn into a long, softly rounded rectangle of recycled sterling silver. The delicate openings allow light and shadow to become part of the design, creating a lovely sense of movement and space.

There’s something wonderfully peaceful about bamboo. Its ability to bend without breaking, to grow steadily and to move with the wind has long made it a symbol of strength, resilience and harmony.

Every tiny leaf, branch and opening has been individually pierced and carefully sawn by hand in my Ballarat studio. It’s a slow, traditional silversmithing process that I absolutely love, allowing me to create intricate little pictures in silver.

The pendant has been finished with a soft satin surface, retaining the subtle marks and individual character of its handmade beginnings.
